’24/7 Pacquiao-Algieri’ premieres on Nov. 8
- Updated: October 20, 2014
Before Manny Pacquiao and Chris Algieri square off on Nov. 22 in Macau, HBO will put together an episode of ’24/7′ to preview the welterweight title fight.
As opposed to the normal three-part series HBO usually puts out for a big fight, Pacquiao-Algieri will get one 30-minute episode to follow both fighters in their training camps.
The ’24/7′ crew will follow Algieri at his home in Long Island as well as in Las Vegas where he has set up shop for his next fight. We will also get a look into the training camp of Manny Pacquiao, who is training in the Philippines for this showdown.
Algieri is coming off the biggest win of his career, an upset victor over Ruslan Provodnikov in June. Pacquiao was able to exact revenge in his last fight by defeating Timothy Bradley in April.
“24/7 Pacquiao-Algieri” will air on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 1:00 a.m. (ET/PT ) immediately following the live World Championship Boxing event from Atlantic City on HBO.
