Abraham to defend against Murray

Arthur Abraham will defend his super middleweight belt on November 21 against Martin Murray, as was announced at a press conference earlier today in Germany.
The bout will take place at the TUI Arena in Hannover, Germany and will air live on Sky Sports and Sat.1.
“Martin is a very strong opponent,’’ said Abraham. ‘’He has challenged for World titles three times before and on two of those occasion he should of won. He is a very deserving challenger and I think it will be a good fight. That is what the public want to see – the best fighting the best – and that is what they will see on November 21 in Hannover.”
Murray, who has challenged for world titles at middleweight against Sergio Martinez, Gennady Golovkin and Felix Sturm, now makes the move to 168 in hopes of finally cashing in.
“I am thrilled to have the chance to face Arthur for the WBO world super middleweight title,” said Murray. “I was shocked when Arthur agreed to the fight, it’s one he didn’t have to take so must be confident but I am at my natural weight now and believe on November 21 I will become world champion.”
