The TV ratings are in for the debut of Premier Boxing Champions on ESPN, which took place this past Saturday when Keith Thurman scored a TKO win over Luis Collazo in an action-packed fight in the main event.

The debut brought in an average of 799,000 viewers, with viewership peaking at nearly 1.2 million. The card, which also included Willie Nelson taking on Tony Harrison, drew the highest ratings for any ESPN Friday Night Fights card this year, which was replaced by PBC. ESPN FNF had averaged 381,000 viewers this year, which is a good start.

This was the first card of the two-year deal between the network and Premier Boxing Champions, with two more shows already scheduled – August 1, with Danny Garcia vs. Paulie Malignaggi in Brooklyn and August 29, with Leo Santa Cruz taking on Abner Mares.
