Chris Algieri to train at The Palazzo in Las Vegas
- Updated: October 17, 2014
Junior welterweight titlist Chris Algieri will be calling The Palazzo in Las Vegas home for the next few weeks, as he will setup shop at the hotel/casino to prepare for his Nov. 13 welterweight clash against Manny Pacquiao.
“The Palazzo has rolled out the red carpet for me,” said Algieri. “From the custom training room to the accommodations, I feel completely at home here and I know this training camp will prepare me for the upcoming bout against Pacquaio at The Venetian Macao on November 22.”
The unbeaten fighter earned his crack at Pacquiao’s welterweight title with his own title-winning performance against Ruslan Provodnikov this past June.
Algieri (20-0, 8 KOs) will also open up his training camp to the public on Saturdays from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
The Pacquiao-Algieri fight will air on HBO PPV, live from Macau, China.
