It was a madhouse at the Mandalay Bay’s Islander room today for the Cotto-Canelo official weigh-in. It was so crowded that a second ballroom had to be opened to serve as an overflow for fans looking to see both fighters before tomorrow’s fight.

Both Miguel Cotto and Canelo Alvarez had no troubles making weight for their showdown tomorrow night at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Alvarez weighed in at 155 pounds. Right at the catchweight limit. Cotto came in a little under at 153.5. Both men appeared to be in prime physical condition.

Canelo said he has no worries about what style Cotto may to try to bring.

“I have to give my 100% all in the ring,” Canelo said after weighing in. “I am prepared to come out with my hand raised.”

Cotto said he is supremely confident and prepared to do whatever it takes to win tomorrow night.

“No matter what style we have to use we’re going to win the fight,” Cotto said.

Takashi Miura 130 pounds, Francisco Vargas 129.5 pounds.

Guillermo Rigondeaux 121.5 vs Drian Francisco 121

Ronny Rios 125 vs Jayson Velez 125.5

Randy Caballero 123.5 (5.5 pounds over, forfeited IBF bantamweight title) vs Lee Haskins 117.5

Cotto vs Canelo takes place tomorrow night live from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas on HBO PPV.
