Mayweather-Pacquiao weigh-in tickets on sale tomorrow

Fight fans who are used to showing up early for fight weigh-ins in Las Vegas will have to go through a different process this time around, as the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight is expected to draw in record crowds in Sin City.

In order to assist with crowd control at the weigh-in, the promoters are going to be offering assigned seating (tickets) for the event, with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen and the Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health.

“The weigh-in is always the grand finale of fight week activities.” said Leonard Ellerbe, CEO of Mayweather Promotions. “And with the massive interest in this fight, the number of fans looking to attend the official weigh-in is going to be something we’ve never seen before. We’re excited to be able to use the enthusiasm around this event to provide donations to two very deserving charities.

“The charge of $10 for the weigh-in will benefit two great charities. All proceeds will go right to them. This is a win-win situation for all,” said Top Rank’s Bob Arum.

The weigh-in will take place on Friday, May 1 at the MGM Grand, and tickets will go on sale this Friday, April 24 at 3 p.m. ET / 12 p.m. PT. Ticket purchases will be limited to 10
