Brook outpoints Porter for IBF title

In what was a clinch fest, Shawn Porter and Kell Brook engaged in an ugly 147 pound fight where both fighter’s failed to dominate the other.
The clinches were mostly initiated by Brook, who again and again attempted to punch his way out of the less than fan-friendly fight.
Brook got the decision nod by the scores of 117-111, 116-112 and 114-114 and becomes the new IBF title holder.
FIGUEROA STOPS TO RETAIN 135 TITLE
Omar Figueroa, (24-0, 18KO) bested a game Daniel Estrada after nine frames, retaining his lightweight title in an exciting back and forth bout.
Figueroa applied pressure throughout, scored a knockdown in the ninth round, went in for the stop and got it in what was the fight of the night.
ANDRE DIRRELL NEW MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMP
In a mostly lackluster contest, Andre Dirrell dethroned Sakio Bika in what was a rematch of their first fight a few years prior.
Dirrell, (27-0-1, 22 KOs) won by the scores of 114-113, 116-111 and 117-110 for the unanimous decision nod in a fight referee Jack Reiss tried his best to officiate.
