Campillo stops Williams Jr. in 5

Former light heavyweight titlist Gabriel Campillo (24-6-1, 11 KOs) scored a fifth-round TKO over The previously unbeaten Thomas Williams Jr. (17-1, 12 KOs) on Friday night in Shelton, Wash.
Campillo earned himself an IBF title opportunity with the stoppage, as a cut over the left eye of Williams forced the stoppage.
In the co-featured bout, Andre Dirrell made his return to the ring after an 18-month layoff, as he battled Vladine Biosse. Dirrell controlled the action with quick jabs and clubbing left hands. In the fifth round, Dirrell pounded on Biosse before the referee stepped in to stop the fight.
The opening bout saw super middleweight Immanuwel Aleem (10-0, 6 KOs) score a sixth round stoppage over a game Juan Carlos Rojas (6-7-1, 4 KOs).
