Charlo stops Bundrage for IBF title

Jermall Charlo has just scored a third-round TKO over Cornelius Bundrage to secure the IBF junior middleweight title in Mashantucket, Connecticut.
The fight was the co-feature of the Premier Boxing Champions card on NBC and Charlo (22-0, 17 KOs) dominated the fight from the get-go. A crisp right hand from Charlo stunned Bundrage (34-6, 19 KOs) early on, sending him down to the canvas in the opening minutes.
After surviving the first round, Bundrage still looked uneasy in the second, and a stiff jab from Charlo sent him down again. The third round was no different as a barrage of punches sent Bundrage down again. Moments later, Charlo connected with another clean right that put “K9” on the canvas for the fourth time, prompting the referee to wave it off.
