Former lightweight titlist Terence Crawford is all set for his junior lightweight debut, as he’ll take on Thomas Dulorme on April 18 in Arlington, Texas, for the vacant WBO title.
The two will be in Arlington on Thursday to formally announce the fight at a press conference at the College Park Center at the University of Texas Arlington.
According to Top Rank, the card will be televised by HBO on “Boxing After Dark” (9:45 p.m. ET/PT).
Crawford (25-0, 17 KOs) is coming off of an impressive 2014 campaign, having dethroned former lightweight titlist Ricky Burns, and scoring wins over Yuriorkis Gamboa (KO9) and Ray Beltran (W12).
Dulorme (22-1, 14 KOs) meanwhile, scored wins over Karim Mayfield and Hank Lundy in 2014.
