Donaire to return on March 28 in the Philippines

Nonito Donaire (33-3, 21 KOs) will look to rebound from his loss to Nicholas Walters when he returns to the ring on March 28 at the SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City, Philippines, according to ESPN.
Donaire will be taking on William Prado in a 10-round 122-pound bout, as he goes down in weight to attempt to win another world title.
“I’m excited to be back at 122 pounds,” Donaire told ESPN. “I’m hoping the training to be at 122 will bring me more speed and power. This camp has been different. I have been in training since December, so I’ve been in shape longer and working on more boxing instead of the usual eight weeks only of camp.”
Donaire did manage to win a world title at 126 pounds, but had problems in fights with Vic Darchinyan, Simpiwe Vetyeka and Nicholas Walters – going 2-1 in the process.
Prado (22-4-1, 15 KOs) has gone 3-1 in his last four fights, after having lost twice in 2012.
