Golovkin to attend Canelo-Khan fight

Middleweight titlist Gennady Golovkin will be heading out to Las Vegas this weekend to take in the middleweight title fight between Canelo Alvarez and Amir Khan at the new T-Mobile Arena.  Golovkin, who is fresh off a drubbing of Dominic Wade, is hoping to get Alvarez in the ring next year for a middleweight unification bout.

“I’m excited to attend the Canelo vs. Khan fight to witness this great matchup of size and power vs. speed and movement,” said Golovkin.  ‘Triple G’ is currently the mandatory challenger for Canelo’s WBC title.

Meanwhile, Golovkin will be at the Field of Dreams stores at the Grand Canal Shoppes at The Venetian Las Vegas and The Forum Shops in Ceasars Palace to sign autographs and meet fans.  The times and locations are as follow:
