Newly crowned super welterweight titlist Jermall Charlo will make his first defense on November 28 in Dallas, Texas.

The Bomb Factory will host the fight which also includes Errol Spence Jr. against Alejandro Barrera in the nights co-main event.

Charlo seems to be quite the dedicated champion thus far since lifting the title from Cornelius Bundrage via TKO in a dominant performance on September 12.

“I haven’t stepped out of the gym since I won the title,” said Charlo. “You get the title, you defend it. That’s the motto. I know Campfort is hungry and at the top of his game, but I’ve been training just as hard, if not harder, to defend my title. It took everything I have to get here and it’s going to take everything I have to remain here.”

Charlo’s opponent is Wilky Campfort, who sounds confident of dethroning Charlo next month.

“I am ready to fight,”

“I am not in this business to run. I’m not afraid of anybody. I’m coming to win a world title and achieve my dream. Charlo better not underestimate me, because I have only victory on my mind.”

Spence was the highlight of a rather dismal 2012 Olympic class and looks to be a fighter who can make a name for himself at the top of the sport in the coming years.

“I’m excited for another opportunity to prove that I’m the real deal and I’m ready for any gut that’s put in front of me,” said Spence Jr. “This will be my first time fighting in my hometown and I’m ready to put on a show for Dallas. November 28, it’s going to be another man down.”

The Premier Boxing Champions fight card will be televised by NBC.
