Kenny Bayless to referee Mayweather-Pacquiao

The Nevada State Athletic Commission today announced the officials for the May 2 mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao.
After today’s meeting, the commission selected Kenny Bayless as the referee for the bout, while Burt Clements, Dave Moretti, and Glenn Feldman will be the three judges.
Bayless has been the third man in the ring for five of Mayweather’s fights, including two of his biggest – against Oscar De La Hoya and Canelo Alvarez. He has also refereed seven of Pacquiao’s fights, with his two most recent outings being Pacquiao-Bradley II and Pacquiao-Marquez IV.
The commission had been looking at five other referees before ultimately voting 5-0 in favor of Bayless. According to the NSAC, Bayless will earn $25,000 for his services, while each judge will take home $20,000 each.
