David Lemieux made sure he gave his fans in Montreal a night to remember, as the Montreal native made quick work of Fernando Guerrero in a middleweight bout on Saturday night.

The fight served as the co-feature to the light heavyweight title bout between Adonis Stevenson and Andrzej Fonfara, and Lemieux took it to Guerrero from the start.  A left hook by Lemieux stunned Guerrero near the end of the round that sent him down.  Guerrero beat the count but was in some trouble though the bell saved him from further punishment.

In the second round, Lemieux sent Guerrero to the canvas again after a series of left hooks opened up a bad cut over his right eye that began gushing all over his face.

In the third, Guerrero took a knee without absorbing a punch as the blood was getting into his eye.  After consulting with the doctor, Guerrero went back out but was put on the canvas again from a brutal right uppercut that ended the fight.
