Mayweather plans to come forward against Maidana

Boxing’s pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather held an open workout for him and his Mayweather Promotions fighters to put their skills on display with just a little over a week before Mayweather vs Maidana.

Mayweather is at a point in his career where he can sell a fight basically against whoever he wants. He didn’t have to select Marcos Maidana, the hard-hitting Argentine who just derailed Adrien Broner, as his next opponent, but Floyd says he earned it.

“Maidana deserves the opportunity,” Mayweather said. “He’s a champion with an 80 percent knockout ratio. He deserves this fight.”

Although he has been in the game racking up the accolades for almost two decades, Mayweather still feels like he hasn’t reaches his peak yet. Even at the age of 37 he believes there is still a lot of juice left.

“In 18 years I haven’t brought my best out yet,” Mayweather said. “Being around the sport for so long, I have a lot of experience. I’ve boxed my whole life. I’ve never worked a job.”

While the first thing most people praise about Mayweather is his impeccable speed, he doesn’t feel that speed is the quality that has helped him remain undefeated for so long.

“Everything isn’t about speed. Everything in boxing and life is about timing,” Mayweather said. “I’m a fighter that likes to take my time and be smart. Some fighters like to be reckless. You see what happens when fighters are reckless.”

Whether it’s fair or unfair, Mayweather is always criticized for “running” in his fights. Floyd says there will be none of that in this fight.

“I’m not going to do a lot of moving when I get in the ring. I’m coming straight ahead,” Mayweather said.

Even if he comes forward who cares, not the true boxing fans will waste their time on a convicted woman beater, a coward, a cherry picker. Only stupid people will watch that boring show, so leave us alone. We’d rather see Mayweather beaten by a woman.

Floyd is all mouth and no guts…watch when he gets wobbled by Maidana, he will hug, run and use his elbows and forearms to evade, duck and dance away. This self hyped proclaimed the best ever is the con artist in modern boxing. This fight is scripted for Maidana to act amateurish and go easy on him dictated by no other than Al Haymon as what they did with Canelo…an extra compensation to give away his zero record. Boycott this fight folks…fight will be predictable not worth watching. Why do you think the undercards are better match ups? Even an 8 year old kid can figure that out. Waste of time and money for the main event.

He always say this thing. He can plan all but at fight time, it is potshot time.
