Russell-Martin elevated to co-feature for December 20 Showtime card
- Updated: December 18, 2014
A change was made to the SHO Extreme telecast this weekend.
Due to a fall out of the proposed bout between Anthony Peterson and Yakabu Amido, the match between Gary Russell, Jr. and Christopher Martin will now co-headline what will be Showtime’s last boxing card of the year.
Also, Julian ‘J Rock’ Williams got a new opponent in Jamar Freeman, who is serving as a substitute for Edgar Ortega.
The Showtime card is presented by Goossen Promotions.
Barry Tompkins will call the action from ringside with boxing historian Steve Farhood and former world champion Raul Marquez serving as expert analysts. The executive producer is Gordon Hall with Richard Gaughan producing and Rick Phillips directing.
