Adonis Stevenson retained his light heavyweight title on Saturday night with a quick knockout of Tommy Karpency in the Premier Boxing Champions main event.

Stevenson was aggressive from the start and didn’t allow Karpency to get into any sort of rhythm, using his power to intimidate him throughout.

After flooring Karepncy at the end of the second round, Stevenson put him down again early in the third to end the fight.

“C’mon Kovalev – it’s time to fight for the unified title!” boasted Stevenson after the win.

In the co-feature, Errol Spence Jr. dominated Chris Van Heerden en route to an eighth round stoppage.

Spence pounded on Van Heerden with combinations and a continuous series of jabs that closed up his left eye in the process. After sending Van Heerden down to the canvas twice in the seventh, a barrage of punches ended the fight in the following round.
