Pacquiao fought with injured right shoulder

During the post-fight press conference last night, a dejected Manny Pacquiao admitted that he fought with a right shoulder injury against Floyd Mayweather.
Mayweather defeated Pacquiao by wide unanimous decision, in a fight that saw Pacquiao throw less punches than what is usually the case.
Pacquiao said that he injured his shoulder in training about three weeks ago, and had been taking anti-inflammatory shots that had been approved by the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency.  However, trainer Freddie Roach said that he had shown improvements and felt that he would be OK to fight.
“It’s part of the game,” Pacquiao said. “I don’t want to make alibis or complain or anything…it’s hard to fight one-handed.”
Though Pacquiao would have been able to take another shot on Saturday, his failure to mention it while filing paperwork prior to the fight, prevented him from being allowed to take another one on fight night.
